Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:The total funding for this agreement is $305,000 for the life of the contract. There is no change to Net County Cost.
Background: New Morning Youth & Family Services has been providing specialty mental health services for county minors on an "as requested" basis for the Mental Health Department for over five years.
Reason for Recommendation:This agreement is needed to allow New Morning to provide additional services for the SB163 WRAP Program. The WRAP program is designed to prevent out of home placement for emotionally disturbed youth. This new agreement also will replace the current contract with New Morning, updating several provisions and giving a more complete version of County expectations and requirements.
Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed agreement to Mental Health for further processing.
