Background: Tahoe Youth & Family Services has been providing specialty mental health services for county minors on an "as requested" basis for the Mental Health Department for over a year.

Reason for Recommendation:This agreement is needed to allow Tahoe Youth & Family Services to provide additional services for the SB163 WRAP Program in South Lake Tahoe. The WRAP Program is designed to prevent out of home placement for emotionally disturbed youth. This new agreement also will replace the current contract with Tahoe Youth, updating several provisions and giving a more complete version of County expectations and requirements. It will also raise the not to exceed amount of the contract.

Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed agreement to Mental Health for further processing.
