Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Mental Health Department has advised General Services that funds are available within their FY 2006-07 budget.  The amount of $7,820.82 covers rent for the months of May and June, 2007.
 
Background: County of El Dorado has leased this space since April 30, 1996 for the Mental Health Day Treatment Program.
 
Reason for Recommendation:The current facility lease agreement expires on April 30, 2007. The Mental Health Department has expressed its desire to continue occupancy of this facility. The purpose of this amendment is to convert the current lease to a month to month, until a new lease is negotiated to combine three leases into one. The lease will commence on May 1, 2007.  The lease amount is $3,910.41 per month and the cost per square foot is $1.06.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board clerk will forward to General Services Department a fully executed original copy of the Amendment II to Lease Agreement 223-L9611 for distribution and administration.
