The City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County have joined together as grant recipients to facilitate the redesign of a 56-acre recreation area to maximize the Lake Tahoe historic, cultural, outdoor and recreational experience for residents and visitors.
Where the water's edge meets Highway 50 at El Dorado Beach and through the Campground by the Lake, including the chamber of commerce, arts building and Senior Center, the Ice Arena and Recreation Complex, all will be part of a community inclusive redesign process paid for by a grant through the California Tahoe Conservancy.
