Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Mental Health Department has advised General Services that funds are available within their FY 2007-08 budget.  The amount of $9,304.12 covers rent for the month of June, 2007.
 
Background: County of El Dorado has leased this space since February 6, 1996 for the Mental Health Day Treatment Program.
 
Reason for Recommendation:The current facility lease agreements expire on May 31, 2007. The Mental Health Department has expressed its desire to continue occupancy of this facility. The purpose of this amendment is to combine the two lease agreements into one and convert to a month to month lease . The lease will commence on June 1, 2007.  The lease amount is $9,304.12 per month and the cost per square foot is $1.06.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board clerk will forward to General Services Department a fully executed original copy of the Amendment II to Lease Agreement 196-L9611 for distribution and administration.
