Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
These consultant services are funded by the 2004 General Plan Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee Program. The Department of Transportation (DOT) has sufficient revenues budgeted to fund this Task Order. There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Background:
On March 27, 2007, the Board approved a task order approval process requiring Board approval of any task order exceeding $250,000 prior to execution of the task order. The total amount of the initial Task Order #4 (TO4) plus Amendment #01 to TO4 of AGMT #05-796 with DMJM+Harris exceeds $250,000, therefore, the DOT requests Board approval of this task order amendment.

Reason for Recommendation:
On August 16, 2005, the Board approved AGMT #05-796 with DMJM+Harris, Inc. in an amount not-to-exceed $1,000,000 for design, transportation planning and construction support services. Subsequently, DOT issued TO4 in the amount of $431,790.60 to provide planning and design services relating to the Project Study Report for the Cameron Park Drive/US 50 Interchange.
