Human Services Department, Community Services Division, recommending the following pertaining to the In-Home Supportive Services Advisory Committee:
(1) Acknowledge and send a thank you letter to resigning member, Roberta Rimbault, Community Representative; and
(2) Appoint Randy Cummings and Roger Lanzini to serve as Consumer Representatives and Alexandra Invanovsky and Darryl Nelson to serve as Provider Representatives, and Betsy Moore and Carol Keates to serve as Community Representatives for two year terms.

Background:
The IHSS Advisory Committee was established by Ordinance No. 4612 dated September 24, 2002 under the statutory authority of Welfare and Institutions Code 12301.6. The purpose of this independent advisory committee is to provide advice and make recommendations on the IHSS Public Authority to the Governing Board and administrative agency of the Public Authority. The Committee may be comprised of no more than 11 individuals: six (6) current or past recipients of IHSS Services, two (2) current or past providers of services and three (3) representatives of an allied community agency.
Reason for Recommendation:
It is vital that the IHSS PA Advisory Committee continue to have an active membership to help the Public Authority fulfill its goals and reach its future objectives. The staff wishes to send a letter to acknowledge and thank Mrs. Rimbault for her service on the IHSS Advisory Committee. Appointment of the six new members brings the Committee close to full membership.
