Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:The total funding for this agreement is $1,400,000 for the two year contract. There is no Change to Net County Cost.
 
Background: Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. has been providing long term 24 hour care and treatment for county adults for five years. These services are delivered at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Special Treatment Programs (STP), Institutes for Mental Disorder (IMD), and Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRC). Crestwood has a number of locations throughout northern California.
 
Reason for Recommendation:This agreement will allow for continued use of Crestwood's facilities for mentally disordered adults who are in need of 24 hour residential care and treatment at various levels. This agreement will cover the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed agreement to Mental Health for further processing.
