Funding for this expense is in the I.T. FY 07/08 budget request.
 
Background:
El Dorado County owns all of the equipment used in the recording of Board meeting; however, lacks trained staff for performing the recording and maintenance duties that are required.  EDCOE provides the necessary staff and some small supplies for the process.
 
Reason for Recommendation:
EDCOE provides operation and maintenance of County television / video production equipment and production of live telecasts and / or video recordings of the Board of Supervisors meetings.  They also videotape and telecast other meetings held in the Board room.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1)  Board Clerk to forward one original executed agreement to I.T.
2)  Procurements and Contracts to extend and increase BP260050 to include the payments for
      FY 07/08.
3)  I.T. shall forward original agreement to EDCOE with letter to proceed.
