Reason for Recommendation:
Public utility easements, as shown on Gold Ridge Forest Subdivision Unit No. 2 Final Map recorded in Book E of Subdivision Maps at Page 51, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in September of 1969, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in December of 1969.

An application has been submitted by Greg W. Terry, Kathleen Carmer, Trustee of the Kathleen Carmer Revocable Trust, and Kadin N. Terry, owners of Lot 149, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a portion of the front public utility easement parallel to Hazel Street, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 009-501-04. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.
The subject property is located on Hazel Street, west of Sly Park Road and south of Highway 50, in Pollock Pines. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment.
