Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utilities easements, as shown on Ridgeview Village Unit No. 8 final map recorded in Book G of Subdivision Maps at Page 100, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in April of 1988, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in May of 1988.

An application has been submitted by Naazi Revocable Family Trust February 23, 2007, James Aziz as Trustee, owner of Lot 454, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate public utilities easements located on the rear and side boundaries, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 120-442-09. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Powers Drive, west of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and north of US Highway 50, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment.
