Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utilities easements, as shown on Village I, Lots F, G, H, Serrano final map recorded in Book I of Subdivision Maps at Page 104, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in August of 2001, and accepted by the Board of Supervisors in September of 2001.

An application has been submitted by Stephen Andrade and Kathi Andrade, owners of Lot 6, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a public utilities easement located on the side boundary line of Lot 6, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 123-230-06. Said easement is more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Aldea Drive, east of Silva Valley Parkway and north of Serrano Parkway, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.

All utility companies that could be impacted by this vacation have provided the Department of Transportation with written notification that they have no facilities within the subject areas and have no objection to the proposed abandonment.
