Background: Like many other Northern California small counties, Calaveras County utilizes El Dorado County's PHF on a fee for service basis. The payment received for the services provided cover 100% of El Dorado County's costs. This agreement is retroactive due to the time it took for Calaveras County to sign and return the completed contract.

Reason for Recommendation:This agreement will allow for Calaveras County's continued use of El Dorado County's PHF for mentally disordered adults who are in need of 24 hour inpatient hospital care and treatment. This agreement will cover the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2009.

Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed agreement to Mental Health for further processing.
