Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There is no fiscal impact to the County. The amount of the consultant agreement is $60,795.00 and will be reimbursed by the applicant for ConocoPhillips Company in a separate reimbursement agreement.

Background:
The proposed project is a 76 Gas Station and Circle K Mini-Mart located on the south side of Mother Lode Drive at the intersection with South Shingle Road in the Shingle Springs area, identified by Assessor's Parcel Number 090-432-42, consisting of 0.65 acres. The proposed project is a 2,976 square foot Circle K Mini-Mart and a 76 Gas Station with six fueling stations under a proposed 4,000 square foot canopy.

This project was approved by the Planning Commission on June 14, 2001, with adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) addressing traffic concerns. The decision was appealed to the Board of Supervisors who referred the matter back to staff for further evaluation of issues raised at hearing. Staff returned to the Board with a revised MND on June 11, 2002, at which time the Board determined an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was required.
