Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:    None.  Board approval is required to establish budgets for FEMA and OES revenues and distribution of those funds to the affected departments and agencies.

Reason for Recommendation:
During the January 2006 winter storm disaster, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and State Office of Emergency Services (OES) reimbursed several County departments and fire districts for costs incurred during the disaster.  Earlier, funds were received for Overtime, Material and Equipment Costs which were budgeted and distributed to the affected departments and agencies. This current receipt of funds ($22,660) is FEMA's approval of 75% and OES' approval of the remaining 25% of regular time for the various fire districts (El Dorado County Fire District, Garden Valley Fire District, Georgetown Fire District and Meeks Bay Fire District), and administration costs for the Sheriff's Department.

Since this is 100% reimbursement of  claimed costs, no County or Fire District match is required.

Action to be taken following Board approval:  Auditor's Office will process the Budget Transfer
