Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:  The Public Health Department has advised General Services that funds are included in their FY2007-08 budget request.
 
Background: The County of El Dorado has leased this facility since August 19, 2003 for the Public Health Department, Health Prepareness Program.
 
Reason for Recommendation: The current facility lease agreement expires on August 31, 2007 and the Public Health Department has expressed their desire to exercise the option to extend the lease for an additional one (1) year term commencing September 1, 2007 and ending on August 31, 2008. The lease amount is $1,400.38 per month at a cost of $1.06 per square foot.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Upon approval by the Board, General Services will forward the official notification to the Lessor.
