Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The TCE executed by the current property owner, Smith and Gabbert, Inc., is being provided at no cost to the County. The requirement for the TCE is a condition of approval for the Walgreen's project, to be constructed in the future on the subject property.
Background:
The El Dorado County Department of Transportation proposes to improve the intersection of Cameron Park Drive and Palmer Drive in and near the community of Cameron Park. The subject parcel is located on the east side of Cameron Park Drive and the north side of Palmer Drive.
Reason for Recommendation:
The acquisition of land rights affecting a portion of the subject parcel is necessary from the subject property owner in order to enable the construction of the project. The acquisition involves a TCE affecting a portion of APN 083-453-07, owned by Smith and Gabbert Inc.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) Chairman of the Board to execute the Certificate of Acceptance for the TCE, affecting a portion of the subject parcel.
2) Board Clerk to record the TCE and provide a conformed copy of the recorded document to the DOT R/W Unit for final processing.
