There is no net cost to the County General Fund associated with this agenda item.

Reason for Recommendation:
The Conditions of Approval for West Valley Tentative Map (TM 99-1359R) required that the developer provide “funding and bid-ready documents” for the construction of those off-site Capital Improvement Projects designated as:
1. #72401, White Rock Road Realignment and Widening, Manchester Drive to Latrobe Road.
2. #72402, Latrobe Road Widening, Highway 50 to White Rock Road.
3. #72403, Latrobe Road Realignment, Widening, and Bridge Project, Suncast Lane to Golden Foothill Parkway.
The Improvement Plans and Contract Documents for those projects have been approved at the DOT Director level. Project 72402 is under construction. Project 72401 has been advertised for construction with bids due on October 11, 2007. Project 72403 will soon be agendized with the Board of Supervisors for approval to advertise and award the construction contract.

The requirement for this agreement was contained in Section 13 of the Funding, Credit and Reimbursement Agreement between West Valley, LLC and the County of El Dorado which was signed by Supervisor Sweeney as Chairman of the Board on November 8, 2005. Section 13 reads as follows:
