Dana Smiley was appointed to serve as a member of the Child Abuse Prevention Council for a term to expire September 2009, but was unable to fulfill her duties on the council. She has since moved away and the seat is rendered vacant. The Child Abuse Prevention Council submits the resignation on behalf of Dana Smiley and will seek a new appointment.
