Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the filing of a Notice of Completion.
 
 
Reason for Recommendation:
On January 9, 2007, your Board awarded Agreement #525-C0775 in the amount of $82,870 with Valley Slurry Seal Company, Inc., a California Corporation for construction of the runway rehabilitation, crack seal and slurry seal project at the Georgetown Airport.   Also awarded that date was Agreement #524-C0799 in the amount of $178,712 with Royal Electric Company, a California Corporation for construction of Placerville Airport Slurry Seal of Runway 5-23 Ends, Displace Threshold and Runway 5-23 Lighting Rehabilitation Project.  Both of those projects have now been completed.  
 
The attached Notices of Completion are submitted for your approval and for Filing with the Recorder Clerk's Office.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Notice of Completion to be filed with the Recorder Clerk's Office.  Thirty-five (35) days after the filing General Services will release retentions to Valley Slurry Seal Company, Inc., and Royal Electric Company respectively.
