Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Drainage easements, as shown on Serrano Village J3B-Unit 2 final map recorded in Book J of Subdivision Maps at Pages 65, and Serrano Village K5-Unit 2 final map recorded in Book J of Subdivision Map at Page 72, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in November of 2005 and March of 2006, and were acknowledged but rejected by the Board of Supervisors in December of 2005 and May of 2006.

An application has been submitted by GHC Company 5, LLC, owners of Lots 61 and 62 in Serrano Village J3B-Unit 2, and Lot 3 of Serrano Village K5-Unit 2, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors terminate and abandon the rejected offer for drainage easements located centrally across Lots 61 and 62, and along the northerly boundary line on Lot 3, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Numbers 123-420-01, 123-420-02, and 123-440-03. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and depicted in Exhibit “B” and “C” of the attached Resolution.
The subject properties are located on Chardin Place and Barber Court , east of Silva Valley Parkway, north of Serrano Parkway and west of Bass Lake Road, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary due to recent grading and construction on the subject lots. Replacement dr...
