Chief Administrative Office, Procurement and Contracts Division, presenting a list of property for donation to the Amador County Sheriff's Office for use in a canine vehicle and recommending the Board so declare and authorize donation of same in accordance with the procedures outlined in the County's Purchasing Ordinance, Chapter 3.12; and further recommending the Purchasing Agent be authorized to sign Agreement 293-O0811 with Amador County for same.

Reason for Recommendation: The Sheriff's Office would like to donate one (1) canine insert. This canine insert fits the older model Ford Crown Victoria that is no longer utilized by the Sheriff's Office. The canine insert will be used in a canine vehicle by the Amador County Sheriff's Office. The Purchasing Agent will donate said property in accordance with the Purchasing Ordinance as noted in Section 3.12.220 thereof.
Fiscal Impact: None.
Action to be taken following approval: Upon approval of the recommendation, the Purchasing Agent will initiate the surplus property donation agreement with Amador County Sheriff's Office for the donation of said property.
