Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund. Funding was dedicated in FY 01/02, utilizing Community Enhancement Funds.

Background: On December 4, 2001, Agenda Item 78, the Board approved the allocation of $100,000 of Community Enhancement Funds for the restoration of the Bayley House, which is owned by the Georgetown Divide Recreation District. Contract Agreement #654-S0311, between the County and the District, was approved on April 8, 2003, Agenda Item 8, for the stablization phase of the restoration project. That contract expired on December 31, 2004. The same Contract Agreement was renewed on November 8, 2005, Agenda Item 54, and expired on December 31, 2006. It is the desire of General Services and the District to enter into a new contract agreement with modifications to both the scope and term of the contract.

Reason for Recommendation: The prior contract agreement identified reimbursement for "actual construction costs." The renewal of the agreement has an expanded scope, to include costs associated with public notices, engineering, design costs and actual construction costs as deemed necessary by the District's Engineer/Project Manager.
