Reason for Recommendation: The FY 2006-2007 IHSS Public Authority and IHSS Advisory Committee Annual Report reflects activities and accomplishments during the fiscal year and outlines a plan of action to achieve the ongoing goal of improving the lives of both IHSS recipients and care providers. The report details the wide array of activities conducted during the past year that have improved both services and community awareness and includes the favorable results of the second IHSS care provider satisfaction survey. It describes the IHSS program, the IHSS Public Authority's responsibilities and the IHSS Advisory Committee's functions. A copy of the report is attached.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board Clerk to file the In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority and IHSS Advisory Committee FY 2006-07 Annual Report.
