Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:The total funding for this agreement is $60,000 for the three-year contract period. There is no Change to Net County Cost.
Reason for Recommendation:This agreement will allow for continued use of Sierra Recovery Center's facilities for mentally disordered homeless adults who are in need of substance abuse services. This agreement will cover the period July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
This agreement is retroactive to July 1, 2007, due to uncertainty about the funding source. As the State did not fund AB 2034 for Fiscal Year 07/08, this program will be continued using unspent AB 2034 dollars and the Mentally Ill Offenders Crime Reduction (MIOCR) grant as the funding source.
Action to be taken following Board approval:Board Clerk's Office will forward the executed agreement to Mental Health for further processing.
