Subvention funding of $93,475 is included in the FY2007-2008 AQMD budget.

Reason for Recommendation:
This request implements the Board's revenue requirement in the AQMD approved FY2007-2008 budget by authorizing the submittal of the application for continued Subvention funding.  These funds are appropriated in the State of California Budget Act of 2007 and are distributed to local air districts in accordance with formulas established by the California Health & Safety Code.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. Board Clerk to provide certified copy of Board's action to the AQMD.
2. The Air Pollution Control Officer to submit FY2007-2008 Subvention funding application to the California Air Resources Board.
