Background:
Reason for Recommendation: Pursuant to Election Code Section 10515, the Board of Supervisors must make the appointments of Special Districts that did NOT go to an election on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 due to either an insufficient number or absence of nominees. The Board shall appoint all candidates who have filed declaration of candidacy and may appoint any nominees who have been recommended by the Directors of the District or the public.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Registrar of Voters will prepare and issue "Cetificate of Election and Oath of Office" to each appointment.
