Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:The Department of Development Services has advised General Services that funds are included in their FY2007-08 budget request.

Reason for Recommendation: The intent of this amendment is to change the occupancy from the Human Services Department to the Development Services Department.  The facility has been recently vacated by Human Services and is available to house staff to serve as  the Angora Fire Restoration/Reconstruction Center.  Negotiations are underway with the Red Cross and TRPA for their staff to collocate at this facility to create a one-stop center for all issues related with the burn area. Permits, plans, and related issues will be handle out of this office.

Action to be taken following Board approval:Board clerk will forward to General Services a fully executed original copy of Amendment III to Lease Agreement #159-L9911 for distribution and administration.
