Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None. The Sheriff's FY07/08 budget has appropriated funding for this maintenance service plan.
Background: In 1996, the Sheriff's Office entered into a software maintenance plan with TracNet Corporation of Pacific Grove, CA. On 9/18/07, your Board approved the annual renewal of this perpetual contract.
Reason for Recommendation: This amendment provides for an annual increase of 10% per year for the next five (5) fiscal years for each identified program and also identifies upcoming software maintenance service for software programs being implemented in the near future.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Chair will sign Amendment "One" to the Software Maintenance Plan; and the Auditor will process the FY07/08 payment in the amount of $71,303.
