Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no change to Net County Cost.
 
Background/Reason for Recommendation: The Board executed Agreement #251-S0711 with Renne, Sloan, Holtzman & Sakai for "as needed" legal services related to matters involving PERB.  The total amount of the contract was not to exceed $25,000 for the one-year period.  This amendment will extend the Agreement for one additional year, and increase compensation by $10,000.
The Agreement has been approved by County Counsel and Risk Management and a copy is on file with the Board Clerk.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:  The Board Clerk will return one fully executed original to Human Resources for distribution and administration.
