Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Funding for this project is included in the FY 07/08 Facilities Capital Improvement Project budget.
Background: The El Dorado Hills Senior Daycare Center project consists of remodeling approxiamately 2,900 square feet of area. Construction of two new ADA restrooms, remodel of two existing restrooms and shower areas and remodel of office and multipurpose spaces. Project includes extensive plumbing work.
On 8/14/07, agenda item #17 (07-1176) the Board authorized General Services to bid the project, with bids due on September 20, 2007. There were nine bidders, of which PBM Construction, Inc. was the lowest qualified and responsive bidder. Their bid was for $255,612.00. A copy of the bid summary list is attached for reference.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Board to approve award of project to PBM Construction, Inc. and Chairman to execute said agreement. Upon execution of agreement General Services will complete administrative process of the contract.
