Reason for Recommendation:
The MOU sets forth each agency's role and responsibility as it relates to Probation's access to the Court's Case Management System (CMS).  Such access and use complies with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and is in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the MOU, including terms and conditions of any license agreement pertaining to the CMS.
 
The Court desires to provide certain justice partners or other approved parties on-line read-only access through a virtual private network.   Probation desires to obtain read-only access to and use of the CMS.   
 
As required by the Purchasing Ordinance and BOS Policy C-17 Probation is requesting Board approval of this Memorandum of Understanding.
 
Action to be taken following Board approval:
 
1.  Chairman to sign MOU.
2.  Board Clerk's office will forward executed MOU to Probation for distribution.
