Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Budget for FY 07/08 includes funding for these services. There is no change in net county cost.
Background: The Library has entered into agreements with Comcast to provide public internet service at the El Dorado Hills, Georgetown and Pollock Pines libraries. The agreements are continual and automatically renew each year.
Reason for Recommendation: Advising the Board of the continual nature of the Comcast agreements.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Library will notify Procurements and Contracts of the Board's approval of these perpetual agreements.
