Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: No change.
Background/Reason for Recommendation: El Dorado County has been working with El Dorado National Forest to construct a restroom at the Rubicon Trail Loon Lake kiosk. Sanitation is an ongoing issue for the trail and the addition of this restroom will enhance the public access to the Rubicon Trail.
The Budget Transfer will increase revenues and appropriations in the Accumulative Capital Outlay Fund. The OHV in-lieu fee revenue for this transfer has been included in the General Fund Department 15.
Action to be taken following Board approval: General Services will continue to work with the Forest Service to procure and install the restroom.
