County Counsel recommending adoption of Resolution approving Cameron Park Airport District's Resolution of Intention and Boundary Map for commencement of proceedings under the Muncipal Improvement Act of 1913 for construction and acquisition of road improvements consisting generally of the reconstruction and resurfacing of roads and the construction of storm drainage improvements for the Cameron Park Airport District, Assessment District No. 2008-1.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution 02-2008.

Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None.
Reason for Recommendation: The Cameron Park Airport District is undertaking assessment district proceedings for street and drainage improvement within the district. They are using procedures under the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913. That Act requires that before the Airport District adopts its resolution of intent, it submit the resolution of intent, along with a plat map of the proposed district, to the Board of Supervisors for approval. That Resolution of Intent is attached as Exhibit "A." The plat map is attached as Exhibit "B." A description of the proposed improvements is attached as Exhibit "C." The current District's Resolution requesting approal is attached as Exhibit "D." The County incurs no liability as a result of its approval of these documents.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Airport District will undertake the assessment district proceedings. If approved, the Auditor and Treasurer/Tax Collector will take the necessary actions to collect any assessments on the tax roll.
