Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost:
The Cameron Park Drive and La Canada Drive Signalization Project is funded with TIM funds and sufficient funds are available in the project budget for the Permit to Enter and Construct and title fees for a total of $400.00. There is no net County cost.
Background:
The El Dorado County Department of Transportation proposes to improve a portion of the Cameron Park Drive and La Canada Drive intersection by widening, installing turn signals, and extending turn lanes. The subject property is located on the west side of Cameron Park Drive and the south side of La Canada Drive.
On September 11, 2007 and October 23, 2007, your Board approved the Authorization to Proceed with Acquisitions for this project. Project construction is scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2008.
Reason for Recommendation:
The Permit to Enter and Construct is necessary to grant permission to the County, its authorized employees, consultants, and contractors to enter upon said property and conform the existing driveway to improvements in the County Right of Way.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Director of the Department of Transportation to sign the Permit to Enter and Construct.
