In recognition of Radon Awareness Month, and the recommendations of the county, state, and national departments that review and monitor public health, and in response to the extraordinary high results of radon testing by the state in the Tahoe Basin, it would be appropriate to have the County of El Dorado research and implement an ordinance that could better protect our citizens from radon gas emissions in residences.
