Background:
Reason for Recommendation:
The Department of Transportation has received an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for road right of way, including the underlying fee, and a public utility easement, situated across the southwesterly portion of Lot R, and the northeasterly boundary of Lot 6, El Dorado Hills Specific Plan Unit No. 1, also identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 121-040-24 and 121-040-27, being more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B attached to said offer. Said dedication is being made by Serrano Associates LLC, a Delaware Limited Liability Company, and is necessary to meet the condition requirements of S03-03, for the construction of El Dorado Hills Fire Station #85. The subject property location lies east of El Dorado Hills Boulevard, and north of Highway 50, in El Dorado Hills.
The Department of Transportation's staff has reviewed said offer and recommends that the Board adopt and authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution accepting said offer at this time. Authorization for recording of said offer is pursuant to Government Code Section 7050.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1) Said Resolution and Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) will be recorded.
2) Copies of the recorded Resolution and IOD will be sent to the property owners.
