Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utility and drainage easements, as shown on Ridgeview West Unit No. 1 final map recorded in Book I of Subdivision Maps at Page 52, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in September of 1999; said public utility easements were accepted by the Board, and said drainage easements were acknowledged but rejected, in December of 1999.

An application has been submitted by Tom H. Hatam and Shahin Hatam, Co-Trustees of the Hatam Family Trust created March 15, 2005, owners of Lot 5, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a portion of the public utility easements and to terminate and abandon the rejected offer for a portion of the drainage easements that are located along the side boundary lines of Lot 5, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 120-600-05. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.
