Background:

Reason for Recommendation:
Public utilities and drainage easements, as shown on Village H El Dorado Hills Unit 5 final map recorded in Book I of Subdivision Maps at Page 16, were irrevocably offered in perpetuity to the County of El Dorado in September of 1998, and the Board of Supervisors accepted said offer for public utilities easements, and acknowledged, but rejected said offer for drainage easements, in October of 1998.

An application has been submitted by Cheryl Gomez, owner of Lot 179, requesting that the County of El Dorado Board of Supervisors vacate a public utilities easement and to terminate and abandon the rejected offer for a portion of a drainage easement, located on the southerly boundary line of the property identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 123-141-11. Said easements are more particularly described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B of the attached Resolution.

The subject property is located on Breese Circle, east of Silva Valley Parkway and north of Serrano Parkway, in El Dorado Hills. Said action is necessary to accommodate planned construction of improvements on the subject lot.
