Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: None.
Background: Mental Health Commission is required to submit an Annual Report to the Board of Supervisors on the needs and performance of the county's mental health system. This annual report must be submitted during the first quarter of the calendar year.
Reason for Recommendation: The Commission's recommendations complement a vision for public mental healthcare that the Department is working to create in El Dorado County.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Mental Health Department evaluates and wherever economically and clinically feasible, utilizes the recommendations of the Commission in an ongoing effort to create improvements for the community we serve.
