Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: Anticipated Salary costs were approved in the FY2007/2008 budget.
 
Background: On September 25 2007, the Board of Supervisors passed Resolution 250-2007, authorizing the allocation of four (4) Sr. Information Technology Analyst positions to the Department of Information Technology.  
 
Reason for Recommendation: The Department of Information Technology has requested approval of the class specification for Sr. Information Technology Analyst to fill the need of having a class above Information Technology Analyst II that deals with the most complex and difficult IT tasks and duties.  
 
Action to be taken following Board approval: Human Resources Department will ensure the approved job specification and salary range are added to the County's website.
