Fiscal Impact/Change to Net County Cost: There is no County cost associated with the requested action.
Reason for Recommendation: Under Conditions of Approval for the Sierra Oaks Condominiums Project #TM 05-1394, the Developer is required to enter into this Agreement and is thereby obligated to complete the improvements in accordance with the approved plans, change orders, and itemized cost estimates. Based on the Improvement Schedules provided, the cost to complete the work is $204,782.75, to be paid for by the Developer. There are no CIP projects proposed in the area of this development, and therefore this Agreement has no provision for reimbursement to the Developer.
The required improvements will widen the frontage along La Crescenta Drive to 20 ft. from the existing centerline, provide for curb and gutter, a 4 ft. wide sidewalk, and driveways onto La Crescenta Drive. All drainage facilities identified in the approved final drainage study prepared for the project shall be included in the subdivision grading and improvement plans.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. The Chairman of the Board will sign Road Improvement Agreement #AGMT 07-1418 with La Crescenta Associates, LLC.
2. The Department will forward one fully executed original Agreement document to La Crescenta, LLC.
