Background: The results of the votes cast at the Presidential Primary Election held February 5, 2008 were certified on February 28, 2008. A copy of the Statement of Vote is on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Board.
Reason for Recommendation: Elections Code section 15400 states that the governing board shall declare the results of each election held under its jurisdiction.
Action to be taken following Board approval: Registrar of Voters will receive and file.
