Reason for Recommendation:
The El Dorado County Senior Day Care Center has been in operation since 1989, providing greatly needed services to members and their careproviders through the dedication and assistance of many individuals who volunteer their time and energies to help the Center offer a pleasant, enriching environment for its members. This year's annual Volunteer Appreciation event is an afternoon tea scheduled on April 24th at 2:30 p.m. at the Placerville Senior Center. This will be a prime opportunity to recognize these very special volunteers who have contributed significantly to the Center's efforts for more than ten years, and the attached proclamations will be presented at that time.
Action to be taken following board approval:
Board Clerk to provide Human Services, Community Services Division with the three Volunteer Recognition Proclamations signed by the Chairman.
