Background: The Environmental Management Department has requested revisions to the current classification specification for Vector Control Technician I/II.
Reason for Recommendation: It is necessary to review and modify classification specifications in order to maintain and update the County's classification plan. After reviewing the classification specifications, it is now necessary to make revisions. The proposed revisions update the minimum qualifications for positions, and also revise job duties to provide enhanced service.
Action to be taken following Board approval: The Human Resources Department will update the classification file for this classification specification.
