Chief Administrative Office recommending adoption of Resolution 60-2008 amending Resolution 58-2008 to correct the reduction of positions in the Human Services Department that was adopted on March 4, 2008.

Background:
At my request, the Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution at its meeting of March 4, 2008 (Item #32). The resolution identified a number of positions to be eliminated to achieve greater savings by the end of fiscal year 2007-08. Subsequent to this action, the Human Services Department advised me that the incorrect position had been identified with the closure of the Shingle Springs nutrition site. This resolution corrects the action taken on March 4.
Action to be taken following Board approval:
Human Resources to prepare reduction-in-force list; Human Services to notify affected employee.
