At the January 8, 2008 BOS meeting, the Public Health Department provided an overview of the financial status of CSAs 3 and 7. The Department apprised the Board at that time that they would return on April 1 to outline in more detail service and financing issues with CSA 3 Tahoe West Shore. The Department will share service data and recommended options to deal with an anticipated funding gap in FY 2008-09. Additionally, the Department has evaluated options on revising the current ambulance fee schedule and will present recommendations.
Action to be Taken Following Discussion: Board to provide direction to Department as to options to evaluate service and funding relative to CSA 3 Tahoe West Shore and ambulance fee schedule review.
