Supervisor Santiago recommending Resolution supporting the 13th Annual Lake Tahoe Marathon to be held between September 24 and September 28, 2008, around Lake Tahoe and between Tahoe City and South Lake Tahoe from approximately 6:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on State Highway 89.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt Resolution 71-2008.

As required by the State of California, Department of Transportation, the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors must acknowledge the traffic restrictions that occur during special events that involved state routes and highways within their jurisdiction. This is the 13th annual Lake Tahoe Marathon; a traditional event that has run very smoothly with the coordination and cooperation of the California Highway Patrol, the El Dorado County Sheriff's Department and the South Lake Tahoe City Police Department.
