There are no fees or assessments relative to this License Agreement. There is no Fiscal Impact associated with this item.

Reason for Recommendation:
The Transportation Department (Department) is currently in the bid process for the Sawmill 1B Bike Path Project (Project), which is scheduled for construction this summer. The Department plans to construct a bike path from the Lake Tahoe Golf Course to Sawmill Road. The purpose of this License Agreement is to access a California Tahoe Conservancy (CTC) owned parcel for the purpose of construction staging (storage of materials and equipment) necessary for the construction of the Project.

The CTC prepared two (2) originals of the License Agreement to grant the County permission to access the CTC-owned parcel (Assessor's Parcel Number 033-180-16).

Action to be taken following Board approval:
1. After the Board Chairman signs the two (2) originals of the License Agreement, the Board Clerk will complete the All Purpose Notary Acknowledgment provided.
2. The Board Clerk will send both originals of the License Agreement and the All Purpose Notary Acknowledgment to the Department for processing to the CTC for signature.
3. Upon receipt from the CTC, the Department will send the signed original of the License Agreement to the Recorder/Clerk's office for recordation.
